Enjoy! Lisa teaches history at Germantown Academy and Peter teaches religion and history at Episcopal Academy. Lisa and her brother, Greg, graduated from the University of Virginia and their father, Steve is an archeology professor and dean at The University.
Peter graduated from Bates College in 1991. Lisa began a Master's in Liberal Studies program at the University of Pennsylvania in January of 2001.
Peter graduated from The George Washington University with a Master's Degree in Education in 1995. Peter has served as a member of the National Executive Council of the Episcopal Peace Fellowship since 1997. The EPF is an organization of episcopalians dedicated to working for peace and justice in the world. Peter taught history at Durham Academy Middle School from 1995 through 2000. Peter and Lisa met when Lisa was Peter's substitute teacher in November of 1996.
Peter coached lacrosse at St Albans School in DC with his Groomsman, Malcolm Lester, in 1994 and 1995.
In 1992-1993, Peter lived in the Cathedral Volunteer Service Community administered by the National Cathedral. Peter met his groomsman, Bryan Harter, in the CVSC and worked with him as well at the College of Preachers.

Peter coached with his groomsman, Malcolm Lester, at St. Albans School in Washington, DC. Mal has created a great website for the classes he teaches, the team he coaches, and the excellent program that he administers. Click on Jack Kerouac's photo to access Mal's site. Lisa's Maid of Honor, Alice Kirsch Fitch lives in San Antonio with her husband, Simeon and their awesome daughter, Margaret. This site has great photos! Peter's groomsman, Bryan, lives in Boston with his wife, Jenn Boyd. Currently (Winter-Spring 2001), Bryan and Jenn are in Mexico, working with Jenn's brother to set up an environmentally-friendly site for tourists and visitors.
When Bryan feels like working in an office, he works at CitySoft which is a terrific company dedicated to creating top-of-the-line websites AND employing experts from "nontraditional" areas. Check out this company! |
