On our wedding weekend there are several weddings occuring in Charlottesville as well as a large conference which has booked up blocks of rooms at many nearby hotels. We were able to book a block of rooms at the Red Roof which were reserved until May 29th. As of June 13th the Red Roof still had rooms available and there are also some rooms available at other hotels if you contact them soon.

While the Carey-Plog block of rooms is no longer reserved (as of May 29th), the Red Roof still has rooms (as of June 13) so give them a call if you are still needing a room for the wedding weekend.
Red Roof is a clean, newly renovated, relatively inexpensive, no "frills" hotel which is located near the University of Virginia "Corner" district. This hotel is within walking distance of St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Hampton Inn & Suites at the University

Rates at the Hampton Inn are regularly $90 per night for 2 full-size beds or 1 king. For $113 you get a suite with 2 full-size beds or 1 king as well as a pullout couch, VCR, and a kitchenette with large refrigerator and stove.
Hampton Inn is located within walking distance from the "Corner" district and just a 1/4 mile from the Red Roof Inn.

The Cavalier Inn Best Western is located within a 1/2 mile from St. Paul's Episcopal and within 3/4 mile from Alumni Hall (where the wedding reception will be). This is a newly renovated hotel owned and operated by the University of Virginia.

Downtown Mall
This fine hotel is located on the "Downtown Mall" and has some rooms available for the weekend of June 29th-July 1. Regular rates are between $139 and $169.
